Dance is form of art and is expressed through movements of the body usually rhythmic and is performed with music. It’s a beautiful way to explore and release your ideas, moods, thoughts and feelings in several situations related to happiness, enjoyment, desire, etc.
It helps you physically to shape up your body, develop your strength, flexibility, maintain good state of cardio, gain lot of power and loose weight also. It’s a wonderful exercise which helps you to refresh, sharpen your mind and fill it with optimism.. Dance is a physical and virtual art form which gives immediate impact on the spectator. Dance has evolved from the traditional to many more modern styles like Indian dance, classical dance, semi – classical, folk, bhangra, dance intro, bollywood, fusion, bollywood hot, pre – fusion, western dance, free style, property dance (many properties such as chairs, sticks, big balls, trampoline, pompoms, hats, umbrella, balls and many more are used) , pair dance, mass dance, robo dance , snake dance , puppet dance, hip-hop and many more….
Dance basics ( starting level)
Never try dancing before? Then this is a perfect step to get to know about dance. Dance intro has basic movements linked to an exciting and dynamic music background which will allow your body to move freely and energetically whilst you enjoy the rhythms coming all the way from India.
Bollywood dance
This is a complete mix of all styles. It was created from a blend of Bollywood movies – the biggest film industry of India. This dancing class is full of energy, with high output music which is strong, clear cut and contains lots of graceful movements. It is a great way to workout and is suitable for all level of learners and is available in several levels of difficulty.
Bhangra
This style was originally a musical dance performance for weddings and festivals with beats of large headed drums (called doll), mixed with western instruments and rhythms which will make you happy and enthusiastic. So, hold your hand high, shake your shoulder and celebrate life …….. It is bhangra style, suitable for all level of learners and available in several levels of difficulty.
Indian style
You want to try something more? Try this style which helps your body to become flexible and gentle. This style involves many other styles like classical, semi-classical, folk, Indian traditional dances. It affects your body shape by using the entire body from feet, legs, chest, hips, neck, shoulders, arms, and palms to dance with. It also shapes up your face due to smiling and eyes movements. Very tender yet bold, good to burn the fat from the hips.. It’s suitable for all level of learners and available in several levels like level 1, 2, etc.
Fusion style
Do you want to challenge yourself? This class is a good choice for you because this style deals with technical and challenging moves with a pleasing sound track. It’s good for the people who are already familiar with dance but it is not suitable for beginners.
Indian mass dance
A powerful combination of cardiovascular exercise with the fusion of country and modern dance movements, this is totally fun filled workout and is available in several levels.
Class Requirements
Bring a Towel and a bottle of water. Practice with caution if you have high or low blood pressure or any other medical condition and inform teacher before the class starts. Please inform the teacher if you feel unwell or dizzy during class.. If you are unsure, please consult your doctor prior to any classes available at Kryoga Asia.
